Driveway & Deck Washing in Marion, IL Back to the color it came in.

Concrete comes up lighter than you remember. Wood comes up looking like wood again.

Concrete does not turn gray on its own.

That is years of dirt, tire marks, algae and whatever dripped off the car.

A driveway can look like it needs replacing when it only needs a good cleaning.

We wash driveways, patios, walkways, pool decks, steps and wood decks across Marion, Carterville and Herrin.

Most jobs start the same way: foam goes down, then a surface cleaner runs it in straight passes.

The wand finishes the edges, the joints and the corners.

Nothing gets left with stripes in it.

Concrete: one pass at a time

A surface cleaner is a spinning bar under a round hood.

It holds an even distance off the slab, so the finish comes out even too.

A bare wand in a hurry is what leaves zebra stripes.

Foam goes on first and sits long enough to work.

Then the passes overlap until the whole panel is one color.

Oil stains and rust may fade rather than vanish, and we will tell you that up front.

Wood: more care, less force

A gray deck is usually good boards under a layer of weather.

Wood gets more care than concrete because it can be cut up by too much pressure.

We clean it until the grain shows and stop there.

That goes for steps, rails, fences and porch swings too.

We have brought a swing back from gray to red-brown.

Tell us if the deck is getting stain afterward and we will plan the washing around it.

Most people who call about a driveway also have a walkway, a set of steps or a patio.

Say so when you call, because it is easier to do it all in one trip.

The same crew handles the house, the roof and the gutters.

So the driveway does not end up cleaner than the siding above it.

    Edges get the wand.

  4. Walk it with us

Look it over before we pack up. If a spot needs another pass, say so.

When to call

Spring pulls off the winter grime and the algae from the shady side.

Before a graduation, a sale or a cookout is the other common time to call.

Smith outdoor power washed our house, our fence, drive, and back patio. Did a great job looked great when it was finished. Very professional and pleased with their work. Would use again.
