Spring & Fall Cleanups in Marion, IL Leaves gone. Yard visible.

Leaf piles, fallen sticks and overgrown beds, cleared down to the grass.

A yard under a foot of leaves is not much of a yard.

You can find the lawn again with the right crew.

We clear leaves, sticks and overgrowth in Marion, Carbondale and Johnston City.

Fall is mostly about leaves.

Spring is mostly about what the winter dropped, plus whatever grew through the beds.

Both seasons need the same thing: someone to rake it, blow it and haul it.

The photos on this page show leaf-covered yards, then the same yards cleared.

Nothing fancy. Just ground you can see again.

Our words, December 6, 2022

"It doesn’t matter who does it. Get those leaves off your lawn."

Leaves that have piled up

Wet leaves stay on turf and smother it. By spring there can be dead patches where they sat.

The sooner they come off, the better the grass does.

We blow and rake the lawn, the beds and the edges of the driveway.

Leaves tucked behind shrubs and against the foundation get cleared too.

Sticks, limbs and winter mess

Storms leave sticks everywhere, and a mower will throw them.

Picking them up first keeps the mowing smooth and the blades happy.

Spring is also when old growth gets cut back in the beds.

Tell us which plants you want kept, and we will work around them.

Overgrown yards

Some yards have gone a full season without anyone.

Weeds are knee high and the beds are lost.

That is a bigger job, and a photo by text helps us size it up.

We cut it down, clear what comes off, then mow what is left.

You end up with a yard instead of a project.

How it goes

What happens when you call.

  1. Call or text a photo

Show us the yard and tell us the town. Leaf depth and bed size matter.

  2. Get a quote

We tell you what the job needs and what it costs.

  3. Clear and haul

Leaves and sticks come off the lawn and beds, then the debris goes away.

  4. Check the ground

We walk it with you. If a bed needs another pass, say so.

When to call

Fall cleanups follow the leaf drop, which runs into November around Herrin and Carterville.

Spring cleanups come before the first real mow.
